Paul Grey - Head Coach

As many of you will know Paul is our Head coach, he has over 15 years working in

the health and fitness industry. Most of his time in the industry has been spent

working with Local Authority Exercise Referral Schemes. Paul's passion is working

with people who have health problems to help improve their lives.

Paul's Qualifications Include:

Sport and Exercise Development Degree 2:2

Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes Management

Level 4 Cardiac Rehabilitation

Level 4 Chronic Respiratory Disease

Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation

Level 3 GP Referral Qualification

Level 3 Award in Personal Training

Wayne McGowan – Specialist Exercise Advisor

Wayne has been on the Keep Moving Board for 3 years now and like the other board

members he has vast experience in the health and fitness industry. Gaining experience working for 4 different Local Authorities and NHS led GP Referral/Rehabilitation programmes over the last 15 years. Wayne works full time for the

South Tyneside NHS as a Wellness Activity Officer as part of their Steps to Health

Programme. We hope that Wayne will be delivering sessions for us in the future!

Kris Hewitt - Facilities Advisor

We welcomed Kris to the Keep Moving Board in the Spring of 2020. Kris has over 15

years working in the Health and Fitness Industry, most of that time working as part

of the Durham University Sport and Operations Team. In his day to day role of

Leisure Team leader he has developed a great knowledge and understanding of

facilities management in both an education and business environment.

Kris’s Qualifications Include:

Sport and Exercise Development Degree 2:1

IOSH Managing Safely Qualification

Level 3 Award in First Line Management

Level 3 GP Referral Qualification

Level 3 Award in Personal Training
